Our work

Six fields of practice. One shared record.

Each field below is a full programme in its own right. What makes them worth running together is that they operate over the same people, the same organisations and the same outputs — so a training investment can be traced to a company, and a company can be traced back to the grant that started it.

Foundations

One identity. One record. Sixteen capabilities.

The Passport is the single account behind everything DiaspAfra does. It carries your profile, your credentials, your affiliations and your permissions across every module, so a grant, a publication, a patent and a company are chapters of one record rather than four disconnected systems.

Education & Learning

Learning that travels with the learner.

Courses, cohorts and credentials designed for people who move — between countries, between institutions and between careers. What you complete is recorded once and recognised everywhere the network reaches.

Science & Research

From the grant to the paper to the patent, without changing systems.

Research funding, laboratory collaboration, publication and intellectual property held as one continuous record. The grant funds the research, the research produces the publication, the publication supports the patent — and each one knows about the others.

Enterprise & Investment

The distance from a result to a company, made shorter.

Ventures, capital and jobs. The patent spins out the venture, the venture raises from the investor network, and the venture hires from the learner cohort — because all three are already on the same platform.

How it connects

One chain, five links, no change of system

This sequence is not hypothetical — it is the reason the platform is built as one thing rather than six. Each link knows about the one before it.

  1. Step 1

The grant funds the research, with terms and reporting attached to the application itself.

  2. Step 2

The research produces the publication, open access, with the data deposited alongside it.

  3. Step 3

The publication supports the patent, whose ownership was settled at the point of award.

  4. Step 4

The patent spins out the venture, with formation support and a route to first customers.

  5. Step 5

The venture hires from the learner cohort, whose credentials it can verify in seconds.

What it costs

Integration is slower to build. We accept that.

Every module inherits constraints from the shared record. A shortcut that would ship a feature in a week is refused when it would break the seam that makes the platform worth building. Module boundaries are enforced mechanically rather than by good intentions, because a rule nobody checks is not a rule.
